Yemen updates

Protesters defaced a poster of Saleh at a rally outside Sana'a University last week

Yemen's president seems to be losing support woho.. more resignations.. yesterday we witnesssed the biggest massacre in Yemen..killign over 70 and wounding over 200.. After the violent crackdown on anti govt protests Ali Saleh held a press conferance in which  he declared a nationwide state of emergency.

what is a state of emergency? another way of saying MARSHALL LAW!... Declaring a state of emergency for 30 days. although unconstitutional he's doing it anyway.  A state of emergency puts severe limits on personal freedom in Yemen but it's not like they had any anyway?.. now they REALLY won't.
"The government can investigate or detain anyone it likes without being bound by current laws, it allows government to censor the press, limits public gatherings, gives security forces the right to enter any building at any time, limits weapons and makes travel between different govern-orates permissible only with presidential approval."
He based his dumb decision by the country's National Security Council.
